Her work most recently revolves around the theme of a woven structure. She has been a weaver and fiber artist for over 40 years, using the idea of a woven structure in a variety of media. She enjoys creating pieces with any number of materials, such as birch bark, steel, horsehair and many others.
She has been experimenting with the combination of encaustics and weaving, creating her own method to create depth and produce an elusive look to the work and incorporating woven materials at various stages. She has also become a printmaker, once again using the woven structure as the base. The challenge of incorporating different materials and media within her work is a core element of her artistic motivations.
